"Tehran People’s Entertainments in Qajar and Pahlavi Eras", written by Mohammad Hosein Naserbakht, is the fifth volume of the Tehran Shahr collection, published by the Cultural Research Bureau. The book is organised in two parts, covering the Qajar and Pahlavi entertainment scenes separately. The opening pages of the Tehran Shahr Agenda outline the volume's objectives in exploring Tehran as a capital city and studying the social, cultural and political development of its people. The book further traces changes in people's daily life, such as beliefs, tastes, behavioural traits and even the manner and tone of speaking.
